Mallonee's Microwave Carmel Corn

3 Quarts Popped Pop Corn
1 1/2 Cup Peanuts (optional)
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Margarine
1/4 Cup Light Corn Syrup
1/4 t. Salt
1/2 t. Baking Soda
1/2 t. Vanilla

In a 2 quart glass bowl, Mix Brown Sugar, Butter, Corn Syrup ans Salt. Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Stir gently then cook 2 more minutes on high. Remove from microwave and stir in backing soda and vanilla. Place popped pop corn in large brown bag. Pour Carmel over it. Roll top and shake well. Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Shake and Microwave for another 1 1/2 minutes. Pour popped corn cookie sheet to cool.
