Double Raisin Bread Pudding

Place in greased Baking Dish (1 qt. size):

6 Slices Cinnamon Swirl Raisin Bread, Cut into ¾“ cubes.
½ Sup Raisins

Mix together and pour over bread in dish:
2 Cups Milk
2 Eggs
¼ Sugar
2 t. Vanilla
¼ t. Salt
¼ t. Cinnamon
¼ t. Nutmeg

Let sit 5 minutes. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes

Sauce:
1 ¼ Cups Powder Sugar
6 T Butter
1 Egg, (Beaten)
¼ Cup apple juice (or dark rum or bandy???)

Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened about 3 minutes.

Serves 4-6
